Exercise May Boost Your Brain Power

According to a study from researchers in Montreal, just 20 minutes of moderate exercise 3 times a week can boost your baby’s brainpower!!

Are you wondering how determined this was? (I know was like wait, what??)

Starting in the second trimester, women in the study were randomly selected to be in two different groups. These groups were those that exercised regularly during pregnancy and those that were sedentary.

Once the babies were born they put 124 soft electrodes on each baby’s head to measure the electrical activity in the brain.

The results were outstanding!!

The babies that were born from women who worked out regularly had more mature cerebral activation, this suggested that their brains developed more rapidly.

Pretty amazing, huh?
